The role
Traded Services are looking for someone to manage and lead our Asset Management Services business unit in delivering high quality, cost efficient and effective direct labour services to Southwark’s internal and external business markets
This role requires excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a results-focused approach, supported by well-developed analytical planning, excellent infrastructure management knowledge and strong organisational skills. This role requires absolute commitment and energy; and will provide you with an opportunity to play an integral part in delivering organisational and cultural change that we believe will help us achieve a Fairer Future for our residents and Southwark staff.
You will develop, embed and champion strategic and operational plans to achieve the Council’s vision. Ensuring that services strive to excel in meeting operational and functional standards and the challenging requirements demanded by the portfolio.
As a leader you will join our creative, diverse and forward thinking team. We are keen for the new manager to inspire and continue to promote innovation and best practice in asset management while continuing to explore commercial opportunities.

Additional salary details
This is a permanent position with a salary range of £60,675 - £76,179 per annum plus an additional JNC financial benefits package to the value of £2,724 per annum (pro-rata April to March and reviewed annually).
