The role
The Role:
The Business Development Officer working together with an experienced back office team would be responsible for implementing a plan to deliver a successful commercial waste service within and beyond the London Borough of Southwark aimed at generating a significant revenue stream for the Council.
The post-holder will engage with business and organisations throughout the borough and beyond and be a key point of contact for new and existing customers.
The post-holder will provide excellent customer care to ensure that new business are acquired and retained to further develop the service. They would work intensively with a crew of drivers and cleaning personnel to deliver an efficient and effective service to customers.
