The role

The Role: Buildings Insurance and Gas Servicing Officer

To use knowledge of insurance policies and contracts to manage, develop and operate the activities relating to building insurance.

To act in the Council’s best interest fulfilling its role under the lease in relation to the buildings insurance policy using landlord and tenant, administrative, financial, legislative and interpersonal skills to deliver services and to assist in the procurement of the contract.

To develop a strategy with housing and modernisation for promotion of the council’s gas servicing scheme for home owners and gas safety generally.

To assist with the delivery of the Council’s modernise objectives within Homeownership Services, including digital and systems transformation, and modern ways of working in accordance with the Council’s business plan.

Hours of work: 36 hours Monday - Friday

Type of contract: secondment
