The Role:
The Building Safety Manager will also coordinate access to quality information and facilitate appropriate opportunities to support stakeholder training needs and assist in the development and maintenance of the Building Safety Case and Safety Case Reports and other associated documentation pertaining to allocated high-rise buildings so they both obtain and retain their Building Assurance Certificates.
- As a new team we are looking for officers who are passionate about our residents’ safety,
- You would be part of a flexible, agile and high preforming team who understands the value of continuous learning and development
- You will need to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, being flexible in your approach
- You will use technology to assist in the planning, inspection and review of our properties across the borough with minimum supervision
- You will play a pivotal part in the team to ensure the ‘wheels keep turning’ so a ‘can do’ and positive attitude is key to engaging with colleagues and residents through the use of excellent communication skills both verbally
and in writing
- You will occasionally attend estate based meetings and in the case of an unplanned event, support emergency situations should they occur Following training, you will be required to achieve the principal accountabilities and person specification stated within the job description.
