The Role:

To contribute to the management of Homeownership Services, reporting to the Business Systems Manager on all matters relating to the notification and billing of service charges to homeowners and  the annual statements of accounts.

About You: 

The post holder will lead and manage the billing service to homeowners, ensuring that the service is business driven and complies with the Council’s statutory and contractual obligations.  To maximise income for service charges, fees and interests. 

To be responsible for overseeing the administration of all account adjustment processes and policies, including write offs and write backs. 

To be responsible for the development and implementation of financial strategies for services rendered by the section using professional accountancy skills to ensure the appropriate procedures, audit requirements, and financial controls are in place. 

To provide quarterly and annual closing figures for the billing and mortgages service.

This is a 6 months fixed term post.
