The Transport Policy team sets the framework within which transport in the borough operates. Writing policy, working with engineers to guide and deliver projects, while monitoring the effectiveness, you'll be driven by improving how people move in Southwark.
Building on the recent 'Streets for People' strategy, the Transport Policy team will be driving engagement over the coming year while we consult on the delivery of the strategy.

About You
- You'll be enthusiastic about using transport planning policy and strategy to deliver the council’s political and service delivery objectives, with experience of recognising how transport affects people's lives

Additional Information:
- This is a permanent full-time position, occasionally required to work evening and weekends
- Standard 36 hours, Monday - Friday
