Internal Only - FTC 12 Months
An opportunity has arisen to join the Highways division in the Environment and Leisure Department as an Assistant Sustainable Travel Officer.
We are looking for someone for this Grade 7 role for a fixed term period of 12 months.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- GCSE in Maths and English or relevant professional qualification or equivalent level of experience
- An understanding of the management and delivery of projects
- A good understanding of how the successful implementation of sustainable travel initiatives can contribute to the council’s wider priorities around sustainability, public health and regeneration
- Experience of Management of quality management and control systems for projects
- Skills related to Customer focussed.
- Skills related to Budgetary management.
You will be working as part of a team delivering sustainable travel initiatives across the borough, including road safety education, training, school travel planning and travel awareness initiatives. Ensuring effective delivery of behaviour change and sustainable travel projects within required parameters of time, quality, and cost.
