The Role

We have two vacancies for assistant enforcement officers based within the Council’s Regulatory Services. One post is located in the Food Safety team and the other within the Trading Standards team. These are exciting new opportunities for anyone who wants to pursue a career as either an environmental health officer or a trading standards officer.  

As an assistant enforcement officer, you will provide support to enforcement teams within the Regulatory Services division and undertake professional development. As part of the role, you will be assisting with inspections, investigations and dealing with complaints. You will also be carrying out data inputting and undertaking a wide range of support activities to enable the teams to carry out their functions.

Both teams operate from our Tooley Street headquarters in London SE1.

 

About you

You will be able to demonstrate experience in regulatory services delivery or have relevant transferable skills. Analytical and investigative thinking with the ability to identify and apply practical solutions to problems will be key to your success.
