The role
At Southwark, we want everyone to benefit from the superb opportunities we can offer. Our vision is for a Fairer Future For All where each resident can realise their full potential.
That’s why we’re investing in our Adults’ Services, making every penny count and driving cultural change at all levels to ensure we can make a positive difference in our communities.
This influential leadership role offers the chance to shape and develop services in a supportive, collegiate environment. If you have the experience and ambition to inspire, innovate and improve, there’s no limit to what you can achieve in an organisation that puts people at the heart of everything it does.
You’ll ensure our services remain at the forefront by providing great leadership on all aspects of Adult Social Care. Key priorities will include promoting partnership working to create seamless, joined-up services and supporting the agenda of social inclusion.
Your impressive background in adults’ services, as well as a track record of successful leadership in a social care environment, will be complemented by a professional qualification in a relevant field.
A good understanding of local government working will be essential in helping to shape and develop the team, and ensuring that, together, we are greater than the sum of our parts.
