The Role:

An exciting opportunity to lead clinical practice across Children’s Services in the London Borough of Southwark. We believe this creates a great opportunity to provide practice leadership of a Clinical Service alongside strategic change projects to deliver the borough’s commitment to improve the mental health and wellbeing of those who most need it within the borough.

Operating as Assistant Director and reporting directly to the Director for Children and Families, this role will play an important part in the senior leadership of Children’s Services functions and across the partnership/ service. The post holder will be responsible for a clinical service that will work with social workers to assess and help children and families using clinical expertise in a variety of contexts including edge of care, child protection, court work as well as youth offending work.  


We are looking for a qualified and experienced senior clinician to help us develop our work including teaching and coaching as well as developing strategic partnerships to support delivery our objectives for children and young people and those that care for them.

Additional salary details

 

This post attracts an additional JNC financial benefits package to the value of £3,503 per annum, pro-rata (April-March).
