The Role:

This role provides with its appointed contractor an  efficient and effective building related facilities services to a range of  buildings accommodating staff and delivering council services across the borough.  The role and its team ensures by regular site visit inspections and reporting, the working environment fully supports the council’s modern ways of working. 

Visiting buildings within a team of Facilities officers,  you will form supportive and collaborative relationships within corporate facilities management technical and project delivery teams, external contractors and a range of building users and stakeholders.  You will work within a professional service delivering cost effective, sustainable and compliant operational programmes across the division’s portfolio.

You will be exceptional at developing strong operational customer relationships and ensuring the Service Level Agreements (SLA) and supported services in relation to the hard and soft services are delivered. 

You will report to the FM Operations Manager and will be required to monitor and provide contractor performance in its maintaining building statutory, planned and reactive maintenance.   You will have authority to commit and authorise expenditure to an appropriate level.
