The Role

TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE PLEASE ENSURE YOU SUBMIT AN APPLICATION VIA OUR DEDICATED MICROSITE: https://www.southwarkhrjobs.com/welcome/

At Southwark, we believe our staff are our greatest strength. They bring the power - the power to make things happen. To create relationships. To help our residents thrive. As our new Organisational Development (OD) Partner, you’ll feel that energy from day one, as you put your valued skills to work at a leading, progressive provider of public services. Join our people powered council and create a better future for Southwark.

This is a unique opportunity to support the design and delivery of programmes, projects and interventions that will have a significant long-term impact on the council. To succeed, you’ll need to work with colleagues at every level of our organisation to develop the culture, behaviours and capabilities that will make sure we are fit for the future. Powered by your commitment to collaboration, you’ll be responsible for programmes and projects that help us to engage effectively with employees and go the extra mile to recognise their achievements. If you want to build on your experience of delivering people-focused projects, this role is perfect.

Day to day, you’ll provide colleagues with advice and guidance; deliver OD interventions; and support a diverse range of change management programmes. You’ll bring existing knowledge of OD, change management or a similar discipline. And your skills should include supporting others, liaising with external providers, and managing the delivery of projects. You will also be able to demonstrate how you’ve been developing yourself, and your commitment to public service.

If you’ve got the people skills to connect and influence others, we’d like to hear from you. By harnessing our individual and collective contributions, we have the power to create a better future for Southwark. Use your power to help us build a next generation workforce and a next generation council. Join us.
