What are the requirements?

- Must be aged 16 or over

- Able to work full time

- Willing to learn

- Willing to work towards English and Maths qualifications whilst on the apprenticeship*

- GCSE requirements or equivalent qualification level*

*GCSE qualification requirements will vary depending upon apprenticeship level

*English and Maths qualifications are a mandatory element of an apprenticeship if not held as a GCSE upon enrolment.

The Role:

You will be working within a department covering Planning Policy, Development Management, Planning Enforcement, Design, Transport Policy, the Old Kent Road Regeneration team and Community Infrastructure Levy.

You will start with planning business administration and then you have the opportunity to progress to become a town planner assistant. A combination of practical, on the job experience and theory will combine to give you an overview of best professional practice, resourcing and talent planning, performance management and planning issues. We understand that everyone’s career could be different, as every apprentice goes through their own unique journey.
