The Role

Are you ready to make a difference in the heart of one of London's most vibrant boroughs? We're seeking a dynamic and passionate Applications Manager (Regulatory Systems) to lead our team in delivering top-notch support and innovation in our Regulatory portfolio. As the Applications Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the seamless operation of our critical applications, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our regulatory controls. Your leadership will be pivotal as you guide our dedicated team in providing essential support services, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing operational leadership steering our team towards success in delivering support for our regulatory applications such as iDox Planning, Confirm, APP, Xpress, Coroners, Bacus, and Visualfiles.
  • Your strategic vision will set the course for technical excellence, ensuring our systems remain robust and reliable.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and IT colleagues, you'll initiate and facilitate projects to enhance our technical capabilities, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.
  • Your expertise in managing corporate applications will shine as you set the strategic direction for our regulatory systems.
  • You'll ensure our projects are executed flawlessly, meeting both short-term goals and long-term need as the primary point of contact for Regulatory Applications Support.
  • Oversee expenditure, ensuring value for money in operating costs and capital investment, managing relationships with suppliers and partner organizations.

How will you make an impact as our Applications Manager (Regulatory Systems)?

  • Previous Applications Management experience with Regulatory Systems preferably gained working within a local authority or public sector organisation.
  • Extensive experience in managing and developing corporate applications, with a keen focus on regulatory controls.
  • Strong communication skills are key - you'll need to convey complex technical concepts with clarity and confidence.
  • A solid grasp of IT operations best practices and project management principles will set you up for success in this role.
  • This role offers flexible home working blended with travel into our London Bridge HQ.
