The role

As an Applications Analyst, you will be a key player in a team of specialist analysts dedicated to delivering outstanding services and supporting the essential applications within our Environment, Growth, and Neighbourhood portfolio. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our applications operate efficiently and effectively, meeting the needs of our diverse business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Delivery: Provide exceptional service to our user community by responding promptly to tickets raised on the corporate IT support system, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Application Support: Use your detailed knowledge of Corporate Applications, particularly in Leisure, Regulatory, and Library systems, to troubleshoot and manage these systems effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the continual development and improvement of services, ensuring our applications remain robust and efficient.
  • Team Collaboration: Support your colleagues by sharing your knowledge and expertise, covering for them during absences, and ensuring the team has a strong base knowledge of all systems within the portfolio.
  • Data Management: Confidently handle system configuration, data management tools, and reporting to ensure accurate and secure access and data integrity.


How will you make an impact as our Applications Analyst (ENG)?  

  • Previous experience with Corporate Applications, especially in Leisure, Regulatory, and Library systems preferably gained working within a local authority or public sector organisation.
  • Proficiency in working with data, managing system configurations, and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • A collaborative mind-set, and commitment to providing excellent service and resolving issues promptly to meet user expectations.
  • Strong communication skills are key - you'll need to convey complex technical information with clarity and confidence.
  • A solid grasp of IT operations best practices and project management principles will set you up for success in this role.
  • This role offers flexible home working blended with travel into our London Bridge HQ.
