Our Service
Southwark Youth Offending Service has recently been recognised by the HMP Inspectorate as ‘delivering an excellent service through energised , skilled and capable staff’

We work in small practice groups, including clinical staff and a practice co-ordinator to use a systemic approach to our work with young people and their families to prevent re-offending. Our culture is one of openness, transparency and supporting professional judgment.

Advanced Practitioner:
We are looking for an Advance Practitioner who can work to our high standards. You will need to work creatively, using a number of theoretical models including systemic practice to achieve change for young people and their families. You will be someone who can inspire and lead others to work to the same high standards.

You will be managing up to four staff and carrying a small caseload of complex cases.

We offer a chance to do deliver holistic in depth work supported by key workers, clinical practitioners and a multi agency team including specialists in ETE, SALT and a health and wellbeing worker.

New initiatives in our service include a health and well being programme, a peer mentoring scheme and an innovative approach to preventing knife crime.

If you have experience in criminal justice, a passion for working with adolescents and their families and the drive, resilience and creativity to lead a practice group and help us realise our vision - we want to hear from you!
