Adopt London South is a Partnership of 10 Local Authority Adoption Agencies working with Adopt London to develop Adoption services across 23 boroughs.  The Post adoption team provides a range of specialist adoption support services for everyone affected by adoption at any stage in their life.

We are looking for an acting Team Manager for the Post Adoption team for 6 months. The experienced, creative and reflective team work well together, developing innovative new ways of working to support children, adults and families across South London using a range of approaches including therapeutic life story, Great Behaviour Breakdown and Non Violent Resistance. There are good partnerships with leading specialist adoption support agencies. We are Family provides excellent peer support and learning for South London families.

ALS is committed to reducing race disparity in adoption throughout the adoption journey. There are also opportunities to collaborate, learn and develop practice across the 4 Adopt London Regional Adoption Agencies for the benefit of all London children needing adoption.

The role

- Inspiring management to promote the best adoption outcomes for every child

- A commitment to excellent working relationships

- An enthusiasm for partnership working across 10 different LAs in South London

- The ability to work across ALS to ensure the best use of resources

- Ensuring the best experience for families needing post adoption services

- A commitment to improving the adoption journey for Black children and families

- Present complex information in writing and in person, with confident analysis and decision making

- Work with the Mosaic Case Management workflow systems and ensure management information in maintained

This role will be an 'Acting Up' role for 6 months from 8th March 2022 to 5th September 2022.
