The Role:
The Administrative Support Officer is the first point of contact for all enquiries, both on the telephone and face to face, providing a professional and responsive customer service to early years and childcare providers, parents and our partners in health, education and social care. The role primarily supports Southwark’s Early Years and Childcare Quality Improvement Team, specifically in relation to maintaining quality information on the councils early years and childcare web page and by facilitating the online early years training, booking and payment procedures and to provide high quality customer focussed administrative support.
About You:
We are looking to appoint an experienced administrative support officer who is able to deliver administrative, customer focussed and financial support services within Southwark’s Education Access and Statutory Service. You are the first point of contact for the team dealing with all queries swiftly and concisely.
You will have an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy as well as experience dealing with finance management and using finance systems such as SAP or similar.
You may have knowledge of project management skills or can demonstrate that you are exceptionally organised and able to produce a variety of reports to a high standard. You will have experience in using IT software including Microsoft word, Excel and Power point and web based applications, including the cloud. You will be able to communicate to a varying audience both verbally and in writing.
