Southwark Music aims to enrich the lives of all Southwark children and young people by making the learning of music dynamic, energetic, varied and fun. We do this through work in schools, our Saturday Centre and other events and projects.

The Role:

To provide high quality administrative support to the Head of the Saturday Centre and contribute to the efficient and smooth running of the Centre ensuring customer service objectives are met. The Centre offers individual, group and ensemble lessons across a range of instruments and styles. 200 students aged 5-18 years attend weekly during term time under the guidance of 25 tutors and staff.

Key duties include:

- To process online applications for all offers at the Centre.

- To maintain accurate cloud-based records relating to all applications and waiting lists in line with SMS GDPR policy.

- To be the point of contact for the Saturday Centre, answering queries from parents, Saturday Centre staff, Southwark Music Service staff and other agencies.

 

About You:

The nature of the job requires initiative and a proactive approach as well as the ability to work under pressure.

You must be available to work each Saturday in term time and an additional half day where required.
