The role
Southwark’s Asset Management Major Works Team require someone who will provide architectural and surveying services on individual projects and schemes, with expertise in providing feasibilities, specification, design drawings, tender documentation, evaluation advice to support the investment strategy for all types of major works contracts.
You will lead as the Construction Project Manager / Building surveyor on individual partnering schemes fully responsible for the site supervision, detailed programme monitoring and budget cost control and monitoring of the contract works and of the Principal Contractor and or Service Provider through all phases of the project.
Within an innovative Major Works Team, you will manage the activities of and co-ordinate internal and external consultants and suppliers to facilitate high levels of service delivery, including providing focus, leadership, direction and motivation to the multi-disciplinary professional design team, and ensuring cost control at all stages of design and delivery of allocated projects.
